#frontporchproject Day 4

I’ve said it before; I would have never anticipated the reaction to this project would be what it is. It’s not just the amount of people that are showing up on their front porch but it’s the joy and gratitude that people have when I show up. It’s the way that people are taking seriously my ask that they pay it forward and support local. It’s the kindnesses that people are sharing with me and my family in response. Thank you, all!

I had hoped it would be a bright spot for people, something I could do to lighten the load of the isolation and fear, but I never would have thought it would be like this.

On Day 4, I worked my way through a few more McKenzie Lake homes and then stretched out into a few surrounding communities….and I’m not done. Stay tuned.
