Momma’s Dress - Avery
I always thought I would be a boy mom but somehow I ended up with a daughter who is all lace and pink and princesses and I wouldn’t have it any other way. From the time she was little, I have dreamed of doing a session (or maybe sessions) of her in my wedding dress.
And that’s how my momma’s dress sessions were born. Last summer, I did a couple of them. Sweet girls of different ages and stages dressing up in their mom’s wedding dress and feeling all the feelings.
My little girl had to have her chance too. I don’ t think I’ve ever seen her smile this big or be this fascinated by what she’s wearing. She has talked since about that day she got to wear my beautiful dress. Of course that also has led to questions of why I don’t wear it but, like many things, that’s a story for another day.
