Kindergarten Grads

Celebrating preschool grad or kindergarten grad hasn’t been something I’ve understood before.

This year, though, having my oldest baby live his kindergarten year through covid, it hit me a bit differently…although, if I’m being honest, every celebration is hitting me a bit differently this year. It feels like celebrating, for me at least, has taken on a richer meaning. It NEEDS to happen. I’m looking for every excuse to do it.

So we did. We had the cap and gown. We tossed hats. We held signs and threw glitter. For each little one that had their first year of school during covid, we partied.
